WHAT WE DO

A Parish Council is an elected body in the first tier of local government. Parish Councils make all kinds of decisions on issues that affect the local community.


Parish Council activities fall into three main categories: representing the local community, delivering services to meet local needs, and improving quality of life and community well being

PARISH COUNCIL MEETINGS 2021-22

There are ten Parish Council Meetings per year which are normally held on the first Monday on every month excluding January, August and Bank Holidays. Under non-Covid conditions, the meetings normally start at 19:00 in  the Wesleyan Reform Chapel, Cliff Bottom, The Bank.
 

Meeting to be held on Monday 7th June 2021-

7pm in St Martin's Church, The Nook.

The Annual Parish Council Meeting was held on 24 May 2021.

A chairperson was not elected and at that point the meeting should have been closed.

As a consequence, the meeting has been rescheduled for Monday 7th June, 2021 at 7pm in St Martin's Church, The Nook.
