Identifying Highways Issues

The Parish Council have formed a sub-committee for Highways matters – the purpose of this committee is to understand what the issues are that the village are most concerned about relating to Highways and then to follow them up and progress the issues quicker than they are able to be currently.

Highways-related issues are to do with vehicles, traffic, speed, safety, pollution, noise etc. Basically, everything that the road and traffic are linked to, but it is not about parking.

SMPC would like to hear from residents and those affected by the Highways so that they can prioritise the needs appropriately. Please email the clerk Carol Duncan smpc.clerk@outlook.com  with your concerns - keeping it as brief as possible, and she will pass them on to the Highways sub-committee to direct their agenda.

This is not a one-off - you can email in with issues at anytime, it is just to start things off.
