Stoney Middleton Horticultural Society - Annual Show6.23.00pm GMT Mon 6th Sep 2010
Stoney Middleton Horticultural Society Annual Show will be held in the Village Hall, Calver at 2.30pm to 4.30pm on Saturday 11th September 2010 - Admission - Adults 50p (min) ● Children Free ● Refreshments - Auction of Produce If you need a lift to the show in the afternoon, please call one of the following to pre-book transport: Kath Mulvey: 07977 887 037 Roger Sparks 01433 631820 John Bettney: 01433 630198 Any person who is a resident or allotment holder in Stoney Middleton is eligible to join the Society for a fee of £2. This membership also entitles you to discount on certain items at Calver Sough Garden Centre. If you would like to enter the show this year please come along to the Moon Inn on Wednesday 8th September at 7.00pm where you will be able to join the Society and enter your items. Schedules and entry forms will be available. Sections: Vegetables, flowers, domestic, arts and crafts, and CHILDRENS Classes. For further info. ring the Secretary : 01433 631181 This year the show is to be held in Calver Village Hall and if anyone would like a lift to Calver please contact one of the names listed above The change of venue for this year is because last year the tents which the Society used for the show were damaged by the wind, and unfortunately funding for new tents could not be found before the committee had to make a decision about where to hold this year's show. The committee hope you will come along and support this year's show.
